Annex 1 to the Regulations for Competitive Events
In November 2016, during the event Freeride Toro Mata and Continental Cup (Peru), the regulation of the mandatory use of the helmet for competitive events that InterSands promotes and organizes is established in a meeting and by unanimous vote.
In addition, other complementary measures were proposed for the safety and integrity of athletes such as; The use of treadmills, suitable boots and hand protector for some modalities.
The complementary measures that the athlete can choose to meet and / or go projected according to the self-protection against the risks that can acquire in the development of high performance for the competitions of sandboarding and sandskiing.
The unanimous vote was given by members and athletes from the countries of Switzerland, Peru, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.
